The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) created the Certificate Course in Management of COPD & ASTHMA (CCCA), a certificate program for building capacity, in collaboration with the Chest Research Foundation (CRF) and Narayana Health (NH) of India. The MOU between Primary Care Respiratory Group in Sri Lanka (PCRG) and PHFI outlines the implementation of this course among Sri Lanka’s primary care physicians. This course consists of eight modules. Each cycle will include a continuous monitoring and evaluation system to guarantee quality control and uniform methods of course delivery at all levels.

This course covers many aspects of asthma and COPD as well as related common morbidities such as allergic rhinitis and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease.
